The Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (OEDI) reviews and investigates complaints of Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking and Prohibited Consensual Relationships between Employees and Students. The OEDI handles all complaints involving such allegations pursuant to the policies and procedures set forth in CSU Executive Order 1096 (Revised August 14, 2020) and CSU Executive Order 1097 (Revised August 14, 2020). Cal State LA adopts CSU policies and procedures as specified, whenever applicable.
The OEDI also facilitates sexual misconduct and sexual harassment prevention trainings, addresses whistleblower complaints, implements ADA accommodations for employees and oversees the University's lactation spaces.
The OEDI is located in room 606 of the Administration building and is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The OEDI can be reached by phone (323-343-3040) or by emailing one of the OEDI staff members listed below. To report an incident to the OEDI, please fill out the online reporting form.
