The purpose of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. The test uses a multiple-choice format to measure the ability to understand North American English. The test consists of three sections:
Bulletins for the TOEFL are available outside of the Testing Center whenever the Library is open. The testing dates are selected by the computer Test Centers. The TOEFL is now computer based only.
