What:
The English Department and the College of Arts and Letters at California State University, Los Angeles, to present a poetry reading by David Mason, author of three collections of poetryÂThe Buried Houses, The Country I Remember, and ArrivalsÂand a book of essays, entitled The Poetry of Life and the Life of Poetry.
When: Thursday, April 8, 7 p.m.
Where:
Cal State L.A. University-Student Union, Alhambra Rooms A & B. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 freeways. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots A, C, F and G, or upper level of north Parking Structure II.

David Mason is also a distinguished translator and has edited or co-edited a number of anthologies, including McGraw-HillÂs Twentieth-Century American Poetry and Twentieth-Century American Poetics.
