Cal State L.A. Now Accepting Entries for Sixth Annual Symposia of Student Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity

What & Who:
California State University, Los Angeles students are invited to submit research, scholarship and creative activity abstracts for oral or poster presentations at the Sixth Annual Symposia of Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity. Entries in all disciplines are encouraged; however, the students submitting entries must have a faculty sponsor.

When:
Symposia: Friday, February 27, 1998, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where:
Cal State L.A. University-Student Union.

Purpose:
The purpose of this event is to promote the exchange of ideas, enhance scholarly development, support student academic progress, and congratulate those individual achievements.

More:
Deadline for entries is Fri., Jan. 30, 1998. The event is sponsored by the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Office of Graduate Studies and Research. The entries selected at the Cal State L.A. symposia will be entered in the annual CSU system-wide student research competition, which will be held at Cal State Chico in May 1998.
