King Hall

Do you remember that middle school history teacher you loved? Or that counselor who sparked your desire to work in education?

Well, if you grew up in L.A., there's a good chance that at least one of those memorable educators was a Cal State L.A. alum, and they probably graduated from the Charter College of Education. Headquartered in King Hall, the Charter College has been turning out high-quality instructors, counselors and administrators for years. It was the nation's first and only charter college for education and it's a leader in reform, and a model for teacher education. Here you can earn your bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees.

Another thing to note: You can work toward your bachelor's degree and teaching credential at the same time.
